role
HAPPENING NOW! Monroe County is now undertaking a community-wide GHG inventory and CAP to better understand emissions from the County and all its stakeholders -- including residential, commercial, industrial, municipal, and all other energy dependent activities that occur within Monroe County. This effort, called the Phase II CAP, will have a much larger scope of emissions sources inventoried and the potential actions for climate change mitigation and adaptation.

The Climate Action Plan Advisory Committee will play a key role in all aspects of this planning process, helping to guide the development of the CAP and serving as spokespeople for the project. Advisory Committee meetings are open to the public! Meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at 3:30PM.
